Teachers only have hours left to opt out of CCEA
As you may know, CCSD teachers can only opt out of the Clark County Education Association by submitting written notice from July 1 to July 15.
And since July 14 and 15 fall on Saturday and Sunday, any teacher who wishes to leave CCEA, but didn't put his or her opt-out letter in the mail by Wednesday, must hand deliver his or her opt-out letter in order to drop membership in CCEA. Teachers have a choice, but only for a very limited time. And, at this point, only if they hand deliver that choice.
