No time like later to clue public in on crisis budget

That's the headline on a story by the Las Vegas Sun's J. Patrick Coolican. From a month ago.

Nevada legislators are busy deliberating and being deliberative, so don't ask them how much money they need or where they're going to get it.
And sadly, that's still the case today.
Lawmakers did not reveal how they plan to pay for the spending they are adding back to the budget. Even with the larger cuts proposed by Gibbons, the budget would cost $900 million more than the state is projected to have in the next two years.
