National Employee Freedom Week (NEFW), which will run from June 23-29, 2013, will highlight how unionized employees often don’t know they have the legal right to opt-out of union membership — and help educate those employees on their options so they can make the decision about union membership that’s best for them.

CARSON CITY — NV Energy’s proposed “NVision” plan, currently being considered by legislators in Carson City, will increase the cost of electricity, does not include a cap on rate hikes caused by increases in natural gas prices and forces ratepayers to pay NV Energy for stockpiles of coal it has purchased but no longer wants to use.
